Data declaration
The EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (Regulation (EU) 2023/956), is commonly referred to as the "EU CBAM" It is a measure imposed by the EU to levy carbon emissions fees on specific imported goods.
Sectors covered in the first phase of the CBAM include cement, electricity, fertilizers, hydrogen, steel, and aluminum. Detail List of controlled goods are provided in Annex 1 and Annex 2 of the Regulation, and each product has a CN Code to facilitate accurate identification by industry and officials.
This database contains a comprehensive list of all goods currently controlled by the CBAM regulation based on the official regulatory texts and information tables released by the EU. The content includes the English and Chinese descriptions of the goods, the corresponding CN Code, the aggregated goods category, and the greenhouse gas. Users are recommended to search conveniently using the CN Code or HS Code, or conduct a fuzzy search using the goods name.
It should be noted that the scope of the CBAM Regulation will be extended to industries covered by the EU ETS. To maintain the timeliness and accuracy of the database, we will regularly monitor the latest progress of the Regulation and update the data accordingly.
