Data declaration
The UN 'Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS)', which is internationllay agreed and worldwide used, standarizes classification of chemicals by types of hazard and harmonizes hazard communication elements.
Harmonized Hazard Classification: 17 Physical Hazards, 10 Health Hazards, and 2 Environmental Hazards
Harmonized Hazard Communication: Labelling and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Since its implementation, UN GHS has been used as a guide for countries to formulate their own chemical management strategies, and more than 60 countries and regions around the world have successively promoted and implemented GHS. Since the UN GHS version, building blocks and data adopted by different countries and regions may differ, the GHS hazard classification results of a substance may also vary in different countries and regions.
This system contains GHS hazard classification information from countries and regions such as China, EU, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Australia, Brazil, New Zealand, Thailand, etc. You can search by entering the CAS number or chemical name, and the results will include GHS hazard category, pictogram, signal word, hazard staement and its code, precautionary statement and its code, etc.
